You're The Bomb Mom

I’m Not A Regular Mom, I’m A Cool Mom

Have you even wondered how they do it? How do mothers really balance their family life and work life, all while keeping a smile on their face?  Here at POSH PR®, we have had plenty of experience working as the Business BFF™ to women who we would consider to be top of the line Mompreneurs! But the question still arises, how do they do it?  In regards to gaining more information we decided to go straight to the source and interview our sweet client and the owner of Luxe Lashes, Arielle.  Not only is Arielle a total Boss Doll™ but she also understands ins and outs of juggling a full time business and being a mother.

Q: Was it a difficult decision for you to decide to continue working after becoming a mother?

A : From the moment I saw my daughter, it was definitely a difficult decision to continue to decide working after becoming a mom. Just the thought of not spending every single moment with her gave me anxiety. However, I also knew that my purpose wouldn't be fulfilled being a stay at home mom.

Q: What kinds of things help you de-stress after long work weeks?

A : After a long week of work, I definitely make it a point to make time for some self care. A few hours alone doing the things that make me feel my best always helps me recharge. Some of my favorites are hair, nails, getting a massage, or reading my favorite girl boss books, etc.

Q: What time saving methods help you and your family during the work week?

A : As a mommy boss, I can promise you there's always something that needs to be done around the house so meal prep, takeout 2-3 days a week, and hiring a cleaning service at least once a month to keep things in order are a huge help!

Q: Has your confidence grown as you succeed as a working mom?

A : My confidence has grown SO much as a working mom. Just the fact that I now run a business full time and get to go home and be a mommy to my baby girl (my other full time job) definitely keeps me on my toes.  It’s this that helps me hold my head a little higher because I now know it's actually possible to juggle both.

Q: What is your favorite thing about being a working mother?

A : My favorite thing about being a working mother is the perfect work-life balance and the opportunity to provide for my family by doing what I love.

Q: Did your own mother’s work life influence yours?

A : My mother's work life was pretty similar to mine since she also worked in the beauty industry with long, demanding hours when I was younger. So if anyone knows how to talk me out of the mom guilt and remind me why I'm even doing all of this in the first place, it's her. I'm also extremely blessed to have her home with my baby girl while I work. I couldn't ask for more.

After interviewing Arielle we decided the best way to help all the mompreneurs out there would be for us to compile a list of tips to help you be the best that you can be.
